PGA professionals understand that each golf swing is unique and are well skilled in the art and science of detecting swing faults by observing ball flight, using video/3D analysis, the trained eye and other methods. The professional can provide instruction of the highest quality in an attempt to teach the swing but if the student does not have the physical capacity to execute the instruction then little technical progress will be made.
This workshop will add to the professionals knowledge in that they will get to learn and understand much more about the physical limitations some golfers experience and the effect these have on the swing. They will learn about corrective measures to improve physical dysfunction.
The course will cover the physical requirements for an efficient swing and the influence sequencing has on accuracy and speed of rotation on distance. Twelve major swing faults will be discussed and the physical limitations that cause these faults identified. You will learn what golf fitness really is and why individual, golf specific fitness assessments and programmes are essential for both the elite golfer and the recreational golfer. |
