 John F Simpson - Executive Producer

John has been in the radio and television business since 1984 and has many years experience particularly in sports broadcasting. John has held many seminars on media training and awareness for the oil companies, Pick 'n Pay and ACSA. Both John and Tina are producers for SuperSport and have filmed countless golf tips and interviews over the last seven years for the programme.

Tina Simpson - Post Production Director

Tina is in charge of post-production. Tina's experience also originated in the 1980's when she was an interviewer and producer for Woman’s World before moving to Johannesburg as an editor for TV News. Tina is highly experienced in modern editing and television techniques and has post-produced numerous programmes for the PGA, SAGDB and Logical Golf.

Course Content
Radio and television techniques - tips to focus the viewer and listener on your content, eyes, hands and voice presentation
Avoiding monotony
Knowing when to wrap it up, practical examples.
Delegates will be given an opportunity to do their own golf tip to camera and then review it
Colour Coding
Interview Techniques- short lesson on how to be interviewed
How to turn bad publicity or good publicity lesson in how to be interviewed
Answering Techniques
Using the brand - even if your own
Handling aggressive interviewers
Preparing for a news conference- example of an accident at the course or driving range

The presentations will be interactive and delegates will be provided with course material.
Delegates will receive their own DVD of their Camera Tip, to take home as this will be used as a work on reference
