SNAG is a first-touch coaching system with a world-wide presence. It offers a modified entry system into golf which accelerates the learning process and makes it fun. This helps overcome many of the barriers which can prevent beginners starting or staying with the game and makes golf far more accessible.

The book series is structured to slowly introduce golf as a 'game for life' making golf fun but equipping youngsters with the tools necessary to 'Get out and play'. The books provide reminders of golf skills and etiquette as well as guiding them through activities and fun games to enhance practice.

IntroGolf, the established and well-known schools golf training academy and Qolf, the latest sporting innovation, have collaborated in an exciting new joint venture.

IntroGolf is an exciting opportunity for boys and girls to participate in one of the most lasting, sociable sports in the world ... Golf. Using specially designed Golf equipment, fun and positive lesson format, we introduce children to the basics of the game of Golf. First and foremost IntroGolf is a lifeskills development program that enhances confidence, social interaction, responsibility, respect, independence, leadership and physical co-ordination. The classes are small, controlled and positive, thereby giving parents value for money and children structured coaching.

Conditions and criteria for PGA endorsement and support of golf development programmes:

• All franchise owners or people delivering the golf programme would need to undergo a Level 1 Coaching certification course. The PGA of SA delivers this course and dates for upcoming courses will be released in the next two weeks.
• All coaches and franchise holders will need to be made aware of the Amateur code and the breaches of the Rules of golf as enforced by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club.
• All coaches and business owners delivering the course would need to complete and abide by the Child Protection Act and documentation that we have in place. These conditions are being enforced very strictly in SA where coaches are working with children and mentally handicapped citizens.
• The PGA of SA would then offer the pathway to coaches who have done the Level 1 coaching course to become PGA members and complete our three year Education and Training Programme which provides full membership to the PGA of SA.
• Successful candidates will need to meet our minimum requirements of the mentoring programme and submit quarterly updates with practical hours signed off in logbooks for coaching and other golf related modules.
• Quarterly communication and updates will also be required from the golf programme owners as part of the criteria for PGA endorsement conditions.
